Videod Focus Feedback
I decided to gather feedback personally from different people in the format of a video.I asked them a range of questions about my digipak and ancillary texts plus my main music video.I tried to ask people of different ages to generate a varied feedback.Here are there answers below...
Survey Monkey Feedback for my Digipak
To conduct some audience feedback in a new way i decided to create an online survey that could be taken worldwide.I left my survey open for anyone to vote on which i thought was the fairest way to generate the most honest feedback.I took to SurveyMonkey and created a question.I chose to as "How successful is my digipak?" i kept it fairly simple but made the answers more descriptive and relevant to get the best judgement as to what they think rather than just a yes/no answer.answer. Here's a preview of what my survey looked like.
As you can see i created 3 answers one positive,one negative and one neutral response.I deliberated on what to put in my answer but decided to keep it as specific as possible so i could understand in detail why they chose that specific answer.I went on t generate the survey and came within a week to find 19 people had responded.I decided to take a snapshot of the results graph.I was extremely happy with the results...
As you can see there is a clear divide between the answers.With the most people voting " Very successful" which i was really happy to see the most positive answer got 57.89% of the full vote and for only a week of responses I was extremely happy.Around 31% voted the neutral response again which was nice to see sating it works well but little changes could be made.I fully appreciate the honesty of the answers and will do back an evaluate and look out for areas that i could change within it.As there is many sides to my digipak,it could just be one little area. Unfortunatly 10% of the vote went to the negative response,ill take all constructive criticism on board,however compared to the majority of the vote most people really liked my digipak,which as a majority i really hoped was the case. I'm really happy with the result of the votes from this survey,it allowed me to generate feedback on my digipak,something that'll help me direct and put into place changes if i feel its needed.

Update 20/3/15
I've recently just completed all my ancillary texts and I'm really happy with the outcomes.I'm now moving onto the evaluation and adding some final shots to my video.As the deadline is looming I'm feeling pretty confident I will have everything done,I'm spending all my free time trying to add and improve all my work to the best of my ability.I'm working towards finishing the end of my project now.
Final Magazine Advert
Here below is my final magazine advert.This took much deliberation and changes and took my longer than anticipated but after many changes I'm happy with my final outcome. Surprisingly I found this the most challenging text to create because it just wasn't going right.I was playing around with elements and images and could never decide on what worked well as i felt my previous drafts were very generic and boring.I took to Photoshop and used my knowledge to cut out images and visually impose them,and it began looking better.Another element that I didn't previously like was the font was so plain,i decided to use a layer tool and create a blending option to give the font a drop shadow so it doesn't look flat on the page,and it really worked well.I used the same formats i have done throughout all my other products and intertwined them into this advert also to create continuity.continuity. I'm really happy with my final product.
This below was a step towards my final design,as you can see its lacking a lot of detail than the finished one,but this demonstrates the changes I made throughout on the journey to make the final product.
I've been working on updating and changing my magazine advert,Ive found this really tricky for some reason i couldn't seem to master getting it looking right.The images i was using weren't working and i was trying to fit my design around it which was proving even more difficult.Here is my updated design,its the best ive designed currently and i'm going to continue improving this design untill i'm really happy with it.
